Ida's experience with the AIR slim trousers

“Fantastic! The material is super-smooth. As soon as I put them on, it was clear that it brings a high level of comfort.”

Winterwear that doesn’t irritate: finally something that feels right

“If you’re touch-sensitive, you’ll get this: winter clothes often feel too much. Too tight. Too itchy. Too overwhelming. So when I slipped into these soft sweatpants for the first time, it was a relief. Fantastic! The material is super-smooth, I thought. As soon as I put them on, I felt calm. Comfortable.

Why winter dressing is harder when you're sensory sensitive

Autumn and winter are beautiful seasons, but for those of us who are touch-sensitive, they can be tricky. More layers often mean more chances of discomfort—scratchy fabrics, annoying seams, tight waistbands.

During summer, it’s easier to find soft, breathable clothes. But once the temperature drops, comfort becomes harder to find. And that’s a problem if you want to focus, relax or just feel at ease in your own skin.

The search for trousers that don’t overstimulate

When you’re highly sensitive to touch, even something as basic as buying sweatpants can become frustrating. I work from home and live in soft clothing—but not all sweatpants are created equal.

For me, a ‘good’ pair means:
– no itching after hours of wear
– no squeezing around the waist
– no scratchy seams
– and please, no sagging or pilling after a few washes.

A brand that gets it

I asked around for brands that offer sensory-friendly loungewear, and someone mentioned a small Belgian label: @samsensoryclothing. The owner contacted me and gifted me a pair of their AIR SLIM sweatpants – soft, tag-free and with seams placed on the outside.

Tried, tested, and loved

I’ve worn them for a week now, and the verdict is clear: comfort from the very first second. The fabric is ultra-smooth, and the fit is just right—gently snug but never tight. Even the length is great (a bit long, but easy to fold).

Durability? I’ll need more time to say, but the fabric feels high-quality and strong. For now, I’m really happy with them.
