A proud moment…Today, a beautiful article about Blusss was published in Het Nieuwsblad!  She wanted to help her highly sensitive son with seamless socks and shirts—now An runs a successful webshop: “People don’t realize how much clothing can impact someone’s life.”   As the mom of Lex (12), I know all too well what it means when clothing is too much. Too tight. Too itchy. Too many scratchy labels. Our search for comfort and calm became the beginning of Blusss – sensory-friendly clothing that truly helps reduce overstimulation. In this article, I share our personal journey, why I started Blusss, and how we’re now helping many more children, teens, and adults feel safe and at ease in their clothes. A heartfelt thank you to journalist Chloë Stylemans for capturing our story with such warmth and care. Read the full article here: LINK Grateful for the growing awareness around sensory sensitivity. Fashion United: SAM Sensory Launches New sensory friendly Brand Blusss

Fashion United: SAM Sensory Launches New sensory friendly Brand Blusss

Entrepreneur An Luyten Launches New Brand BlusssAn Luyten, founder of children’s clothing label SAM Sensory, is now introducing a second brand: Blusss. Both brands share the same mission — offering sensory-friendly clothing and accessories. Some of the items are even designed to actively soothe and calm. The name Blusss carries a deeper meaning. The three S’s stand for sensory, sensitivity, and solace. The collection is made for those who feel more — whether they are highly sensitive, neurodivergent, or simply overwhelmed by daily sensory input. The aim: to offer peace, recognition, and style. The pieces are designed without irritating seams, often feature calming deep pressure, and include thoughtful sensory-friendly details. “Blusss isn’t a quick fix — it’s not that simple. But it shows a growing movement toward softness. Not as a luxury, but as a necessity,” says Luyten. Blusss: Clothing and Accessories for Sensory-Sensitive People Luyten launched SAM Sensory five years ago. Her son is sensory-sensitive, and her search for seamless soft socks turned up empty. So she created her own line — originally focused on children. “But it quickly became clear that the need was much wider. Adults, too, were searching for comfort — in what they wear, how they move, and how they make it through the day,” Luyten explains in the press release. Over time, SAM Sensory will transition into Blusss. The new brand becomes the home for soft, stylish clothing and smart sensory solutions. Currently, SAM’s products can already be found under the kids section on the Blusss website. With future production rounds, these items will gradually carry the Blusss label as well. Blusss Featured in The Wall Street Journal: A Milestone for Sensory-Friendly Fashion

Blusss Featured in The Wall Street Journal: A Milestone for Sensory-Friendly Fashion

Blusss Featured in The Wall Street Journal: A Milestone for Sensory-Friendly Fashion At Blusss, we have always believed that fashion should feel as good as it looks. That’s why we’re beyond thrilled to share that our mission and products have been recognized by The Wall Street Journal! In the article "Feeling Anxious? There’s a Sweatshirt for That.", Blusss is highlighted as part of a growing movement bringing sensory-friendly fashion into the mainstream. Why this feature matters For years, people with sensory sensitivities have struggled to find clothing that truly supports their well-being. Scratchy tags, harsh seams, and irritating fabrics can turn something as simple as getting dressed into a challenge. Blusss (formerly known as SAM Sensory Clothing), was founded to change that by offering clothing and accessories that are soft, seamless, and calming to the senses—without compromising on style. To see our work acknowledged by one of the world’s leading publications is an incredible moment. It confirms that sensory-friendly fashion isn’t just a niche—it’s a movement that is reshaping the industry. What The Wall Street Journal had to say In the feature, journalist Antonina Jedrzejczak explored the growing demand for clothing designed with sensory comfort in mind. She personally tested some of our best-selling products, including: The Mellow Sensory Scarf – a stylish, ultra-soft scarf with a subtle lavender scent designed to offer a sense of calm on the go. The Sensory Long Sleeve – a tag-free, seamless essential made from breathable, irritation-free fabric. The Bamboo SENS Socks – ultra-soft and seamless socks that eliminate the discomfort of regular socks. Jedrzejczak was impressed with how these designs blend sensory relief with everyday style, making them suitable for everyone—not just those with sensory processing challenges. A personal journey turned global Blusss was born from a deeply personal need. As a mother of a sensory-sensitive child, I experienced firsthand the frustration of searching for comfortable, wearable solutions. I knew I wasn’t alone in this struggle, and so I set out to create a brand that could help others feel more at ease in their daily lives. Fast forward to today, and our small mission has turned into an international movement. With recognition from The Wall Street Journal, we are even more motivated to keep pushing for inclusivity, comfort, and well-being in fashion. The Future of Sensory-Friendly Fashion This moment is just the beginning. The demand for sensory-conscious fashion is growing, and we are committed to leading the way. More than ever, people are realizing that clothing should do more than just look good—it should support mental, physical, and emotional comfort. We are excited to continue innovating, creating, and spreading the message that fashion can truly be a tool for well-being.
